I was part of the 2024 election results team where I helped to write custom software to collect precinct-level vote counts for counties across the United States, focused specifically on “swing states” and other “interesting” counties.

The data scraping efforts, led by Ilana Marcus and Saurabh Datar, provided the data to feed the NYT Election Needle and to help the Election Analytics and Graphics teams to visualize and make sense of the election results.
